ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the connector from the oil pressure switch assembly.
- With the switch still installed, measure the resistance between the terminal of the engine oil pressure switch and engine ground.
Standard Resistance:
Engine stopped:
Below 1 Ω
Engine idling:
10 kΩ or higher
HINT: If the value is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch.

(a) Using SST and a hammer, install a new oil seal.
SST 09316-60011 (09316-00011)
Oil seal installation depth:
-0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.020 to 0.020 in.)
(b) Coat the lip of the oil seal with MP grease.
