Gateway ECU Communication Stop Mode
  • "Gateway" is not displayed on the "Communication Bus Check" screen of the intelligent tester
  • Applies to "Gateway ECU Communication Stop Mode" in the "DTC COMBINATION TABLE"
  • Power source circuit of gateway ECU
  • Gateway ECU branch wire or connector
  • Network Gateway ECU

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

HINT: Operating the ignition switch, any switches, or any doors triggers related ECU and sensor communication with the CAN. This communication will cause the resistance value to change.

1 CHECK OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (ECU MAIN BUS WIRE)

CHECK OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (ECU MAIN BUS WIRE)

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.
  2. Disconnect the network gateway ECU connector.
  3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
