1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
- The illuminated entry system is explained below:
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, close all the doors,
and set them in the lock condition.
- Unlock any door and open any other doors and
check that the room light comes on. Close the
door and check that the room light goes off in
about 15 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and open and close
any other of the doors. Check that the room light
immediately goes off.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Open and close any of the doors to turn the
room light on. Before the room light goes off in
about 15 seconds, turn the ignition switch ON.
Check that the room light goes off immediately.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Open and close any of the doors to turn the
room light come on. Before the light goes off in
about 15 seconds, lock all the door. Check that
the light goes off immediately.
2. LIGHT AUTO CUT OPERATION CHECK
- Turn the ignition switch ON, and switch headlight
into TAIL or HEAD position.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and open the driver
door, and check that the headlight goes off in about
30 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch ON, and switch headlight
into TAIL or HEAD position.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and open the driver
door. Before the headlight goes off in about 30
seconds, lock all the doors. Check that the headlight
goes off immediately.
3. BATTERY SAVER OPERATION CHECK
- Remove the ignition key and close all the doors.
- Open any door to light the room light, and leave it
open. Check that the light goes off in about 20
minutes.
- After the room light goes off, close the driver door.
- Open any door to turn the room light on, and then
open another door. Check that the room light goes
off within 20 minutes after opening the doors.
- Close all the doors. With the ignition key inserted,
open any door to light the room light and then,
remove the ignition key. Check that the room light
goes off within 20 minutes.
