DTC B1182/19 Short to GND in Driver Side Squib 2nd Step Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The driver side squib 2nd step circuit consists of the center airbag sensor assembly, the spiral cable and the steering pad.
The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.
DTC B1182/19 is recorded when a short to ground is detected in the driver side squib 2nd step circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT:
1 CHECK STEERING PAD (DRIVER SIDE SQUIB 2ND STEP)
CAUTION: Never connect a tester to the steering pad (driver side squib 2nd step) for measurement, as this may lead to a serious injury due to airbag deployment.
NOTICE: Do not forcibly insert the SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting.
Insert the SST straight into the terminals of the connector.

OK: DTC B1182/19 is not output. HINT: Codes other than DTC B1182/19 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
Perform zero point calibration of yaw rate and deceleration sensor (when
using sst check wire)
NOTICE:
While obtaining the zero point, do not vibrate the
vehicle by tilting, moving or shaking it and keep it
in a stationary condition. (Do not turn the ignition
switch to the ON position.)
Be sure to do this on a level surface (with an
inclination of less than 1 %).

1. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector from the fuel sender
gauge.
Check that the float moves smoothly between F and
E.
Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2
of the connector according to the value(s) in the
