INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.
1 CHECK DISC
OK: No deformation or cracks on the disc.
2 DISC CLEANING
NOTICE: Do not use a conventional record cleaner or anti-static preservative.
3 CLEAR DTC
4 RECHECK DTC
OK: Malfunction disappears.
5 REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK
OK: Malfunction disappears

Installation
1. INSTALL 3 POINT TYPE NO. 2 REAR SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY
Check the degree of tilt when the belt begins to lock
the ELR.
Check that the belt does not lock within 15 of
tilt in all directions but that the belt locks with
over 45 of tilt, when gently moving the
retractor.

When all of the following conditions are fulfilled, high beam will be
automatically turned on (after approximately 1 second):
Vehicle speed is above approximately 20 mph (32 km/h).
The area ahead of the vehicle is dark.
There are no oncoming or preceding vehicles with headlights or

Installation
1. INSTALL STEERING PAD
Support the steering pad with one hand as shown in
the illustration.
Connect the 2 connectors to the steering pad.

When handling the airbag connector, take care
not to damage the airbag wire harness.
