Toyota Sienna Service Manual: Power Window cannot be Operated by Wireless Operation

DESCRIPTION

When the switch on the transmitter is operated during normal operating conditions, the multiplex network body ECU sends a request signal to the master switch and the regulator switches which then drive the applicable power window motors.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1 CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS

  1. Check that the wireless door lock functions operate with movement of the transmitter switch.

HINT: When the wireless door LOCK/UNLOCK operation can be performed, it means that the wireless signal from the transmitter is properly input to the multiplex network body ECU.

2 CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION

  1. Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch and each regulator switch can operate all the power windows.

3 CHECK REMOTE UP/DOWN FUNCTION

  1. Check that the remote UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the power windows.
