REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERY TERMINAL

  1.  Before performing electrical work, disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal in order to prevent a short in the system.
  2.  When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery cable, turn the ignition switch and lighting switches off and loosen the terminal nut completely. Perform these operations without prying on the terminal.
  3.  When the battery terminal is disconnected, the memories of the clock, radio, DTCs, etc. are erased.

    Before disconnecting the terminal, check and make a note of them
