Toyota Sienna Service Manual: Removal
1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
- Put protective tape under the quarter panel.
- Partially the fender liner.
HINT: Do not remove the fender liner completely but partially so that the bumper cover can be removed.
- Remove the 2 screws and 8 clips.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws and
remove the cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the steering column assembly with the 3
bolts.
Torque: 25 N*m (255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf)
(b) Connect the connectors.
(c) Connect the wire harness clamps to the steering
column tube.
2. CONNECT STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install shift lever assembly to the vehicle with the 4
bolts.
Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
NOTICE:
Into datum hole of shift lever into datum pin of
instrument lower.
(b) Connect the 2 connectors to the shift lever
assembly.
