INSPECTION

1. INSPECT WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH

INSPECT WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH

  1.  Check the defogger switch illuminates.

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly or bulb.

 INSPECT WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH

  1. Check the defogger timer.
  1.  Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3.
  2.  Connect positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 through a 1.4 W test bulb.
  3.  Push the outer defogger switch ON then check that the switch and the test bulb turn off after thy illuminate for 12 to 18 minutes.

    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly
