Toyota Sienna Service Manual: Installation

HINT:

1. INSTALL FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR LH

INSTALL FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR LH

  1.  Check that the ignition switch is off.
  2.  Check that the battery negative (-) terminal is disconnected.

    CAUTION: After disconnecting the negative battery terminal, wait for at least 90 seconds before starting the operation.

  3.  Install the front airbag sensor LH with the 2 bolts.

    Torque: 12.5 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:

  1.  Connect the connector to the front airbag sensor LH.
  2.  Check that there is no looseness in the installation parts of the front airbag sensor LH.

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

3. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1.  Perform initialization.

HINT: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.

4. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
