1. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
- Install the front door grass weatherstrip.
2. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (See page MI-45)
3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUBASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL BACK FRAME PLATE
6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG
8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH
Removal
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL

DESCRIPTION
The front pretensioner squib LH circuit consists of the center airbag sensor
assembly and the front seat
outer belt assembly LH.
This circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.

Installation
1. INSTALL STEERING PAD
Support the steering pad with one hand as shown in
the illustration.
Connect the 2 connectors to the steering pad.
NOTICE:
When handling the airbag connector, take care
not to damage the airbag wire harness.
Connect the horn connector.

Inspection
1. INSPECT CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
Resistance inspection
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance
between the terminals.
Resistance:
6.9 to 7.9 Ω at 20C (68F)
If necessary, replace the camshaft timing oil
control valve assembly.
