Toyota Sienna Service Manual: Inspection

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

  1.  Release the seat belt (Buckle switch is ON).
  2.  Check the resistance between the terminals.

Standard

If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.

  1.  Inspect the buckle switch.

INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

  1.  Fasten the seat belt (Buckle switch is OFF).
  2.  Check the resistance between the terminals.

Standard

  1. Inspect the circuit for the airbag seat position sensor.

INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

  1.  Check the resistance between the terminals.

Standard

If the result is not as specified, replace the seat cushion assembly.

2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1.  Inspect the buckle switch.
