DTC B1633/82 Short to B+ in Rear Curtain Shield Squib RH Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The rear curtain shield squib RH circuit consists of the center airbag sensor assembly and the curtain shield airbag assembly RH.
The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.
DTC B1633/82 is recorded when a short to B+ is detected in the rear curtain shield squib RH circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT:
1 CHECK CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (REAR CURTAIN SHIELD SQUIB RH)

CAUTION: Never connect a tester to the curtain shield airbag assembly RH (Rear curtain shield squib RH) for measurement, as this may lead to a serious injury due to airbag deployment.
NOTICE: Do not forcibly insert the SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting.
Insert the SST straight into the terminals of the connector.

OK: DTC B1633/82 is not output.
HINT: Codes other than DTC B1633/82 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.
REPLACE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH

Valve SL1)
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The ECM uses signals from the vehicle speed sensor to
detect the actual gear position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
or 5th gear).
Then the ECM compares the actual gear with the shift schedule in the ECM memory
to detect mechanical
problems of the shift solenoid valves, valve b ...
Steering Pad Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends an operation signal from the steering pad switch to the
radio receiver.
If there is an open in the circuit, the navigation system cannot be operated
using the steering pad switch.
If there is a short in the circuit, the resulting condition is the same as if ...
