1. DISPOSE OF SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY FRONT LH
HINT: Dispose the RH side by the same procedures as the LH side.
(a) Fully extend the shock absorber rod.
(b) Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder as shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.

Connect the connector to the front passenger airbag
assembly.

1. Remove oil filler cap sub-assembly
(A) remove the oil filler cap sub-assembly and oil filler
gasket.

(a) Remove the spark plugs.
3. REMOVE OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG
(a) Remove the oil pan drain plug and oil pan drain plug
gasket.
