1. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY (for 8-Passenger)
HINT: Refer to the instructions for disassembly of the rear No. 1 seat assembly (for center seat).
- Remove the bolt and rear seat 3 point type belt assembly.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY (for 7-Passenger)
HINT: Refer to the instructions for disassembly of the rear No. 1 seat assembly (for captain seat type).
- Remove the bolt and rear seat 3 point type belt assembly.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY
HINT:
- Refer to the instructions for disassembly of the rear No. 2 seat assembly (for power seat type RH side).
- Refer to the instructions for disassembly of the rear No. 2 seat assembly (for manual seat type RH side).
- Remove the bolt and rear seat 3 point type belt assembly.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY HINT:
- Refer to the instructions for disassembly of the rear No. 2 seat assembly (for power seat type LH side).
- Refer to the instructions for disassembly of the rear No. 2 seat assembly (for manual seat type LH side).
- Remove the bolt and rear seat inner belt assembly.

1. Inspect torque converter clutch assembly
(a) Inspect the one-way clutch.
(1) Set SST into the inner race of the one-way
clutch.

clutch.

1. INSPECT THERMOSTAT
(a) Inspect the thermostat.
HINT:
The valve opening temperature is inscribed on the
thermostat.
(b) Immerse the thermostat in water and gradually heat
the water.
(c) Check the valve opening temperature.

DESCRIPTION
The ECM calculates the difference between the readings of the coolant
temperature sensor and intake air
temperature sensor. If the difference is greater than 20°C (68°F), the ECM will
judge this as a malfunction
