1. DTC CHECK

DTC CHECK

  1.  Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
  1.  Connect the intelligent tester to the Controller Area Network Vehicle Interface Module (CAN VIM). Then connect the CAN VIM to the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3).
  1.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2.  Read the DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.

HINT: Refer to the intelligent tester operator's manual for further details.

2. DTC CLEAR

  1.  Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
  2.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  3.  Operate the intelligent tester to erase the codes.
