Inspection
1. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Memory)
- The L side of the left / right adjustment switch: Inspect the mirror switch resistance.
Standard resistance (Left side)
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
- The R side of the left / right adjustment switch: Inspect the mirror switch resistance.
Standard resistance (Right side)
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
2. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Memory)
- Remove the outer mirror control switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below when the switch is operated.
Resistance
*1: The L or R of the left / right adjustment switch.
Installation
1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH
Install the mirror with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
Connect the connector.
