If the REMOTE UP/DOWN function does not operate, any of the following troubles may be the cause:

INSPECTION
1. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector from the fuel sender
gauge.
Check that the float moves smoothly between F and
E.
Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2
of the connector according to the value(s) in the

Checking and replacing
fuses
If any of the electrical components do not operate, a fuse may
have blown. If this happens, check and replace the fuses as necessary.
Turn the engine switch to the “LOCK” position (vehicles without a
smart key system) or off (vehicles with a smart key system).
Open the fuse box cover.
