Toyota Sienna Service Manual: Voice Guidance does not Function

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1 CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM SETTING

CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM SETTING

  1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch.
  2.  Select "Volume".

CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM SETTING

  1. Check that "OFF" is not selected.

OK: "OFF" is not selected

2 CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING

CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING

  1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch.
  2.  Select "Set up".

CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING

  1. Check that "Voice Guidance in All Modes" is not OFF.

OK: Voice guidance in all modes is not OFF.

3 CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING

  1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch.
  2.  Select "Setup".

CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING

  1. Check that "Auto Voice Guidance" is not OFF.

OK: Auto voice guidance is not OFF

4 CHECK MAP DISC

CHECK MAP DISC

  1. Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.

OK: No deformations or cracks on map disc.

5 CHECK RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY

  1. Check that audio sound can be heard from the driver side speaker.

OK: Audio sound can be heard
